How do the lights work?

Each LED has its own tiny chip, so the app can tell every single bulb what color to be. Pair over Bluetooth, pick a preset animation, choose from millions of colors, or draw your own pattern on the grid in the app and see it appear on the tree in real time. The remote handles the basics — on, off, colors and modes — if you'd rather skip the app.

What's in the box and where can I use it?

You get the light set with the star topper ring, a remote control and a USB power cable. Drape it over a real or artificial tree, or hang it on its own in a corner or against a wall — the cascading strands and glowing star form a full tree shape by themselves, which makes it great for apartments and offices without space for a tree. USB power means it's low voltage and can even run off a power bank.
