How do I use the seal strip?

Wipe the surface clean and dry first — this is the step that makes it stick. Measure the gap, cut the strip to length with scissors, peel off the backing and press it on firmly for about 30 seconds. If the room is cold, warm the adhesive side with a hair dryer for a few seconds before pressing. Your door or window will still open and close normally — the silicone lip just flexes with it.

How much do I get and where does it work?

Each roll is 5 meters (about 16 ft) — enough for a full door frame or one to two windows. [Add strip width here.] It works on smooth surfaces like glass, painted wood, metal and uPVC: door bottoms and sides, sliding windows, wardrobes and shower doors. It's soft silicone, so it stays flexible in winter instead of going hard and cracking. Very rough or dusty surfaces will weaken the adhesive, so clean first.
